Mother of Malcolm Hickson retains The Law Office of T. Christopher Lewis to monitor Carrollton shooting death investigation
Dallas, Texas: The family of Malcolm Hickson, 25, has retained The Law Office of T. Christopher Lewis to represent them as an investigation is opened regarding the shooting death of the young man on October 26th, 2016 by a SWAT officer. Police received a tip regarding Hickson’s whereabouts, and responded to the InTown Suites at 1240 West Trinity Mills Road, where Hickson was shot by Sgt. Caleb West. Officers claim that Hickson complied, but then reached for a firearm located in his waistband. There were no body cameras on the officers at that time.
“Hickson’s family has a lot of unanswered questions. It is our job to make sure they get the answers they seek. We are working to find out what really happened and to make sure that if there are any irregularities, that justice is served.”, said Attorney T. Christopher Lewis.
